They paid attention to all the details from drop off to pick up. Friendly and easy to work with . My repair was completed in a very timely manner but the exterior clean up after the repair in my opinion was over the top. I will definetly return the next time I am in need of vehicle repair.

Milstead picked up my truck from the house on the same afternoon I called. Provided a solid written estimate later that afternoon. A quick phone discussion with a very professional supervisor to go over details and give the OK to do the work. Truck returned to the house the next day with new brakes, shocks, mirror replaced and serviced. Actual cost was spot on with the estimate. Today was for oil and filter change and tire rotation. They provided me with the status of a tire wearing differently from the other three as a possible alignment problem. Added windshield cleaner. Also advised brakes are needing replacement soon. All was good but the visit took a while longer then I thought it would. Next visit I will remember to ask for an estimate for the time to complete the service.

Love this place. Folks are friendly and knowledgable, clean bathrooms while you wait. The coffee and Teddy Grahams are a nice touch. I did wait a little bit, about an hour and half. But i didn't make an appointment and I did get there kinda late in the morning (after 10am), so it was expected. The place is busy, so make sure to call ahead, if its routine maintenance!

This visit was a little slow on delivery but we've used Milstead for decades and they always give us back our cars or motorhome better than when they came limping in. The staff is friendly and the mechanic crew can handle anything we bring into the shop. This visit was to remove 4-down towing equipment from our tow car. We didn't get it back in the expected time, but we were compensated for the extended rental car costs. They tested the transmission, fixed the pressure leak and were able to reset the computer so that the ABS would function properly. We were back on the road the next day. We remain happy customers.

I came in earlier in the week with a "check your charging station" light and Todd quickly had Scott take a look. The light wasn't on long enough to get a code, yet Scott checked my battery, belts to make sure everything was Ok. They narrowed it down to my alternator, but without the code, couldn't say for sure. Todd then explained if my alternator went into "fail safe" mode, what I could expect and not to panic. Sure enough, the very next day, in a parking lot, my Honda Pilot did exactly what Todd said and I immediately drove it to Milstead. Todd and the team took excellent care of my Pilot and I had it back before the end of the day. I appreciate a service team willing to explain what's being done, even draw it out for me on paper until I fully understand. It's personal service abs quality that keeps me coming back!

All the work on the engine was great. I still have an issue with my remote not be able to lock or unlock the passenger door that I had a new hand and door lock assembly installed on. The remote would lock and unlock the door before it was repaired. The handle would not open the door. The new door handle works perfect, but cannot lock or unlock the door. I was in on Saturday January 16th to see if they could look at it, but the technician was not in on Saturday who could work on it.

They did their part in a timely manner. I told them I really needed my car back asap and they got me out real quick. Sucks I had to pay 200 bucks to find out my gas gauge isn't accurate and I had ran out of gas, but they did do a tow and a diagnostic. So I paid for what I got.

Staff was extremely helpful. I dropped my jeep off because of an A/C issue and also needed an oil change. I dropped it off on Saturday and it was ready by Monday. Not only was everything fixed they even washed my jeep and cleaned the inside. That was a great bonus! My whole family has used Milstead and recommend them. I went to Milstead for my scheduled oil change and was finished within the half hour. Not only did I get my oil taken care of, but my tires were brought up to the recommended pressure (all were lower than recommended levels) and all fluids checked and topped off. Not being mechanically savvy, I rely on Milstead to ensure that my automobile is in safe driving condition. It's comforting to know that their expertise keeps my car in tip-top shape.

Milstead performs quality work and I trust that their technicians know their stuff. They are not the cheapest in town but trusting the quality demands a little premium. They are not as organized as I would like. I've used their auto service department twice and in both cases time estimates were way off, and in the latest service, there were a series of missed emails, wrong parts ordered and multiple time extensions. That said, they are courteous and service oriented which is becoming more rare these days.

Work was excellent, even called me to let me know my inspection sticker was running out and did i want you to renew it. I was not called as promised that my truck was ready.

From their Mobile unit to their Service Department they have delivered. Kim Vuncannon in Fleet bailed me out of my road failure in Galveston and Mark Orsack was very personable and knowledgeable about what was work had been done while our vehicle was in your shop. Your turn around time is "unbeatable" and even the girls in the Accounting Office were very helpful in offering me options in methods of payment. Only drawback is your location. Whenever possible I will utilize Milstead. Thank you so much for your excellent work and customer service.

I have used Milstead Automotive for several vehicles since moving to the Spring area in 2004. I have been very pleased with their service, courtesy and integrity. I have never felt that anyone there has tried to sell me something I did not need. I have also never had to return to have repairs and services corrected.

I brought my car in on a Saturday morning when they were short staffed. They flushed my transmission, performed other needed maintenance, and diagnosed a tire problem which was causing much noise in the car. All this was accomplished by 10:30, and I had the rest of the day to use the car. The car is running and sounding much better than it has in a long time. It is a pleasure to drive the car again.

Todd was very courteous and helpful in getting my RV serviced. Milstead performed flawlessly, AGAIN!

I have three vehicles that I take to Milstead. I believe them to be trustworthy, always accommodating to their best ability, and I will continue to be a patron.

My car broke down outside of Milstead on a Sunday. I called the number and a gentleman offered to open the gate. My husband and I tried pushing my car but I am out of shape and my car is an expedition. The gentleman came out and helped us push it into the lot. When I spoke to Scott on Monday, he was kind and told me how transmission repairs worked and what the average cost was. While my cost was above average, I have every confidence in Milstead and their repairs. The parts and labor are under warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles. I enjoy that when I pick up my car it has been backed into a space, washed and vaccuumed.

Milstead is not cheap but, I receive quality repairs in a timely manner. The work comes with a warranty and questions are answered and recommendations are unbiased. This works for me.

I was able to pay via fax from work and pick up the car using their after hours service. Couldn't have had better customer service. Even detailed the outside of my vehicle! The repair was not cheap, but you get what you pay for... I'm 100% satisfied. Will use them again, for sure.

My only complaint about Milstead is that they aren't cheap...but I guess you get what you pay for. I got an oil change recently, and the tech noted that my tires were showing some wear and that I was approaching my 69K service time. Thewaiting area is awesome...Keurig coffee, donuts, wireless computers on the counter for use, plus TV and newspapers. Very accomodating.

Had a great experience there the other day just like I always do. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I was in and out in a timely manner. Even though its a long drive from my work or home to them, its always worth the drive because I know the work is going to be done right the first time and I'm treated with respect.

I had major work done on a recently purchased, used Cummins diesel Dodge truck. The staff there were very professional and explained what needed to be done clearly, why it had happened and how to prevent such a need in the future. I will take all of my vehicles to Milstead from now on.

Wonderful experiance as usual at Milstead,

I had a tire issue, tire was not repairable. Mark Orsack and Ricki (last name unknown) took the time to show me the tire wear and explain that the rest of our tires need replacing. They were also kind enough to mount my spare on one of the matching rims rather than that vanilla rim that it was mounted on in the trunk.

The staff was very helpful. I was seen in a timely manner. All that was done was an inspection on my motorcycle. The staff very professional.

I always feel confident in taking my car to Milstead. Everyone is pleasant and willing to answer any questions I have.

Greg did a very good job of providing us explanations of what to anticipate prior to the diagnostic and assessment, what was found during the initial review and then what to anticipate as the repairs progressed. He made every accomodation to help have the car ready on a short turn-around for us. An expensive repair, but I trust MILSTEAD and you guys came through, once again!

Milstead (transmission side) has a friendly and courteous staff that does very well explaining the vehicle's problems to people that do not understand cars as well as others. Beware of them suggesting un-needed work, though. They told us the problem at the beginning, suggested a service, did it (less was done than what we were told would be done, unfortunately), then told us the exact same thing they told us at first.. $97 and several days later, I realized it was time and hard-earned money wasted.

Gregg Bruce made sure that I was keep informed on the job being done.It was done fast and I was able to pick up the truck on my best time.

Gabe was and always is absolutely awesome! They keep you informed about the process, they give you a solid quote, they always do what they say they'll do. And when your car is repaired, you don't have to worry about sketchy mechanics. I've never had secondary issues as a result of my repair work. Milstead is the only place that services my truck and will be the only one to service it also.
